BYZANTINE STORIES
PAINTING, DRAWINGS and DIGITAL GRAPHICS EXHIBITION by

Byzantine Stories are never ending stories.
Our civilization is based on rich Byzantine legacy.
The stories that I am telling now are the stories of
its legacy seen from my point of view, from the
point of now days and of my Orthodox breeding.
These stories begum a long time ago in my art poetics,
they were blossoming, but I materialized them now, here, in Cyprus.
Theme is a serial of digital graphics based on my early figurative drawings.
These graphics represent the celebration of every day life.
Easy thoughts after every day rush.
You can see on these graphics the moments of breathing time,
rest or the moments of thoughts before decision...
This linear structure of artworks is giving us necessary refreshment.
The colour gamma is leading us to the time of the renaissance,
when thaw human starts to be in the centre of the Universe again,
for the first time after antique times.
The beauty of shapes and stable composition,
atmosphere of the space and easy breath
are characteristics of these digital graphics.
